Who am I?
I am Jess Crutchfield. I am a passionate woman of our times. I am a human being... I breathe, I move, I eat, I play, I dream.
I believe we all need balance in life: physically, emotionally, mentally, and spiritually. I believe we all innately have that capacity, as well as the capacity to heal from within.
I am here to live my most vital and aware life possible.
And, I am here to help you do that too.
My Mission: to partner with others & guide them on their path towards their most vital, aware, embodied, and joyful life possible
I love to teach. I love to partner with you as a coach. I am ever-evolving. I am inspired to constantly learn and grow. I am human! I am relatable. I see life as an opportunity to create, have an impact, build community, love, learn, heal from the past, and then get to do it "better" the next lifetime. I know that I am here for a reason. I am uncovering this for myself daily. I want to help you do the same.
I began my working life as a school teacher for instrumental music, specifically elementary school band and orchestra. I found Thai Bodywork Massage, Yoga, and Breathwork all coincidentally in January of 2017 and my path has radically changed, becoming a path of self-discovery, self-experience, self-love, self-compassion.... not long after, I began teaching and coaching within this vast area of health and wellness.
Some of my latest passionate areas of study and play include:
Authentic Relating, Strength Training (ie squat rack work) and Ape Co movement practices founded by Ido Portal, Brazilian Zouk Partner dance, and Contact Improvisational dancing.
I coach 1:1 and in small groups, as well as lead seminars and other teaching experiences, in the field of functional health and medicine as a health coach - I am also now (as of December 2022) a National Board Certified Health & Wellness Coach (a title of great prestige, and providing a professional and ethical set of standards to which I adhere); I teach group workshops and continuing education courses at Boulder Massage Therapy Institute in Thai Bodywork through skills of conscious relating, touch, and listening; I provide a space for mindful movement and self-experience through yoga classes from the lens of Hatha Yoga, Kriya Yoga/Kundalini Yoga, Yin and Restorative Yoga, Trauma-Informed Yoga, and generally, long/slow/deep/attuned to you gooey yoga classes; I teach health-related mindfulness and yoga-related practices in the workplace setting to de-stress and bring more presence to the entire cohort; I also love to teach mindfulness, breath, and foundational yoga to children of all ages.
My dedicated focus is to stand alongside you to raise awareness of your self from the inside, out. I have been a catalyst for deep change with my 1:1 clients and students, and I hope to do so for you too.
My passion and enthusiasm for my work is amplified by my open-heart approach. I am here to partner with you! I envision a world with people that are more aware; I believe we are all "infinite within" - as infinite as the universe and beyond are, outside of us. This is why I have branded my business as Infinite Within.
I live and teach by the truth that "the body has an incredible, innate capacity to heal itself, if only given the chance.
